A lazy, warm deep green scent with a thick aquatic undertone: Spanish moss, evergreen and cypress with watery blue-green notes and an eddy of hothouse flowers and swamp blooms.
Vial: I have no idea how to describe this scent. a little bit of pine, but mostly sort of mossy, earthy scents with some floral overtones.
Wet: Mostly, retains its character.
Drydown: Spicy... this is nice. I like it, but it's indescribable. It's an organic scent: that's about the best I can do. It's got a kind of vanilla/clove character, except not vanilla or cloves. But that kind of warmth. And something like cut grass that's been fermenting in the sun for a little while.
Dry: Wow. It smells like water. Like a sunlit, pleasantly brackish sort of pond with jumping frogs (plop!) and so forth. Well, I'll be....
How cool is that?
Home from SFRA for the day. Now, I try to get some words. Also, Liz sent the edit letter for Blood & Iron, so I'm going to print that out so I can take it to Minneapolis with me and scribble all over it.
I can do this.
