A scent celebrating Sir Francis Dashwood's Order of the Knights of St. Francis of Wycombe, also known as the Hellfire Club. A swirl of pipe tobacco, hot leather, ambergris, dark musk and the lingering incense smoke from their Black Mass.
Vial: In the vial it's sweet, smoky incense, maybe a touch of leather. It doesn't have that ashtray note that Gaueko has.
Wet: Leather and incense. Nice.
Drydown: Sweet smoke. It's sweeter in my cleavage, which seems to hang onto volatiles better, with a resinous frankincensy kind of scent, and more aroma-of-a-good-pipe-someplace outdoors on my wrists. There's also a lingering trace of Wilson's Leather Shop. You know, they really should bottle that smell. I'm prone to standing around outside leather stores and just breathing, you know?
Dry: I smell like a headshop. A headshop from which all trace of patchouli has mysteriously been removed, leaving only a lingering atmosphere of smoke, suede, frankincense, and sandalwood.
So, like a headshop. In a good way.
