Nuit

BPAL Description:

She is the Goddess of the Sky, one of the Ennead, daughter of the air [Shu] and water [Tefnut], lover of Geb and Hadit, the Eternal Mother, and the Receiver, Reviver and Protector of the Dead, whose loving, divine embrace shields our souls from annihilation. She is love, rapture, splendor, continuous and eternal birth and rebirth, infinite space, and the “the naked brilliance of the voluptuous night”. Nuit is Earth’s guardian, and shields her lover and her mortal children from the primeval chaos that threatens Existence. Her perfume is starry and crystalline, a jewel-clad and glittering paean to night: dazzling white musks, white rose and night-blooming jasmine with the soft moss of moonlit meadows, a waft of Egyptian incense, and a gentle breath of moonflower.

My Notes:

Vial:  tartness and jasmine.

Wet:  Jasmine. Less tart, very light and pleasant.

Drydown:  Jasmine, undertones of rose.

Dry:  Nice enough, but not destined to become a favorite.

You're a tenth of the way to a novel...you could just keep going.

*ducks*
I've really only got about 7-10K of plot left. And I don't need a mock-Victorian vampire novel.

Besides, how long can you spend on a dirigible?
Bah. They have smut to keep them busy for the other 80k.

Depends on how many possible pairs there are (and whether any are willing to triple-up). Also, on how many of them are fertility gods.

I love that bit of Kipling, always have.

I am crushed that hernewshoes didn't list me on her list of inspirations, but I have now gone and added coffe_and_ink which has been a temptation (and all your fault) for some time.

I hope you're satisfied.

I am indeed. And I am a bad influence.
It says something for my current state of mind that I mis-read that sentence as "In the morning, they strip-searched the penguins."

I think I need to sleep.
There's a story in that.....
A fun and trippy story. Yum.

---L.
Yes, oddly enough there is. Give me some time and I'll let you know where you can read it at.
