Laudanum

BPAL Description:

The essence of the most debauched hunger encapsulated into a perfume. Desire beyond love, anguish beyond sanity. Nutmeg, sassafras, black poppy and myrrh.

My Notes:

Vial:  Unpleasant. The nutmeg and myrrh do not get on well with one another. It smells like spoiled egg nog

Wet:  Nutmeg and sassafras. Weird.

Drydown:  bitter root beer.

Dry:  Nutmeg, faintly. This isn't terribly exciting.

The Adams-Jefferson Letters! I've got that book right now; was planning on using it for my current essay but realized I don't have the time to read it. I might look at it some more afterwards :) It sounds really interesting!
It is fascinating!

Whoo-hoo, you go, girl! *bounces for you*
I want this broken draft out of my head so I can fix it up and make the pretty thing I want it to be.
That makes sense :) I wish you every success. That's kinda how I'm feeling about Solace at the moment; I need the first draft out of my brain; it's taking up too much space. Once it's out there on paper I can do all the groovy things that I want/need to do to it -- like tightening the prose. There's sections which seem very loose. It's meant to be fluid, but tightly so, and there's areas where I know that works, and areas which just make me cringe. So -- finish the draft, then make it pwetty: that's the plan.

Of course, sometimes it's easier said than done. :p
isn't it the truth? It's a pity this writing thing isn't easier. But then, I guess everybody would be doing it.
*smirks* You mean everyone isn't?! ;p
Yes, but where had Sebastian left the bad? These details are important.

In his other pants....
He challenged me to a game of ten card tarot, pentacles wild. I caught him dealing a High Priestess from the bottom of the deck when... *cavalry charge*

So this is what it's like to have a ten minute long earworm!

*glare* :)

She's no fun, she fell right over.

I'd say I was sorry but I would be lying.
I love that icon. :) Oh we are being blamed for another writer's new found addiction to BPAL. LOL! I think your reviews and my babbling convinced her to take a look.
katallen made the icon. And lo, 'tis true, 'tis true.

And send your bpal-initiate to cpolk *g* She has the BEST reviews.
Holy water burns, doesn't it, bitch?
