pecunium on habeas corpus. Go read.

Comments

. . . habeas . . .
If you want to pick on my typing, you're going top be a very busy bear.
Case in bloody point. :-P

Suffice it to say, I am *not* a good typist.
Why would I pick on your typing when I could pick on your Latin? :P
You can't pick on Latin, because I haven't got any. *g*
Sure you do. -us is an ending for nouns like alumnus. habeus corpus looks like two nouns in a row. habeas corpus doesn't. And "habeas" looks like "have", and "corpus" looks like "corpse". It's all about the wild extrapolation and the good SAT score ;)
That's irrelevant. Habeas corpus is on loan as an English word, in this context, and I know how to spell it. My typing, on the other hand, is lousy.

(And my English SAT score was pretty good, even without Latin.)
I assumed it was: that's why I was advising that you use it to fake Latin! (I took French in high school, myself. Latin was later.)

To be fair, I should point out that the article you're linking to is titled Habeus Corpus.
I was just humming that song yesterday!!
oh there's sober men a plenty
and drunkards barely twenty
and there's men of over ninety that have never yet kissed a girl--
RRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Rr.

Sigh.

Makes me want to spit, I tell you.
Alas, this pairs too, too well with this article. Though this one's more outwardly funny.
