Progress notes for 26 March 2006:

"Love Among the Talus"

First wordcount since February 17, by the way. Which was a couple hundred very random words on something else, which are still languishing. What you might call a hesitation mark.

New Words: 674
Total Words: 674
Pages: 3 and some notes
Deadline: March 31. Um. Not for any particular reason. *whistles*
Reason for stopping: Bed
Stimulants: russian tea
Exercise: none
Mail: I got some cheerful news today, but it may still be sekrit, so I will tell you about it later.
Today's words Word don't know: carborundum; scree
Words I'm surprised Word do know: talus
Tyop du jour: n/a
Darling du jour: (this is the first two paragraphs, which I am rather pleased with.)

You cannot really keep a princess in a tower. Not if she has no brothers and must learn statecraft and dancing and riding and poisons and potions and the passage of arms, so that she may eventually rule.

But you can do the next best thing.

Interesting tidbit of the day: none
Other writing-related work: I explained to a friend how to explicate poetry and wrote a long co-essay with truepenny for glass_cats
