Didn't get as much done today as I wanted to, because after I wound up (fortuitously) released from the media mining, I went back to bed and slept until 7:30. Then I sat down on the couch and fell asleep until 8:30. So I went back to bed and slept until 10:15.
I think I might still be getting my stamina back.
Stimulants: grapefruit juice
Exercise: serious nap attacks.
Mail: The Jenny books are collectively nominated for "Best First Novel" in the Locus awards. I see some other well-known faces over there too: Tim Pratt, Hal Duncan, that Scalzi guy...
We're shocked, shocked by the Best Novel category. And I also see some hands I should shake in other categories too--Best YA novel, and among the short fiction.
Congrats. guys. And *very* good luck to all of you.
Also, I guess I am allowed to talk about this now!
Fast Forward, an original anthology forthcoming from Pyr. Including a short story by me ("The Something-Dreaming Game," which is about alien invasions and autoerotic asphyxiation) and a lot of stuff by much better writers. Out next February, according to Amazon. (And thank you, Lou!)
