Progress notes for 31 August 2006:
New Words: 1134
Total Words: 9885
Deadline: September 5
Reason for stopping: I've gotten to the bit where they have to solve the murder, and I haven't figured that bit out yet. I mean, I know who did it, but I dunno how they sort out the answer.
Stimulants: ginger limeade
Exercise: Archery tonight! Bear gets her new bow today.
Mammalian assistance: Mebd is bouncy today, and wants to play. Inconvenient when I want to work.
Mail: a Locus
Today's words Word don't know: athame, inaptly, magicked, relayered, nibbed, scritch-scritch, miaowed, dustman,
Mean Things: the meanest thing happens next scene.
Darling du jour: "Redcoats." She suspected, if they hadn't been indoors, Jack would have turned his head and spat.
Jury-rigging: had to go back and patch in a scene that I didn't put in in the first place. Once upon a time, I could write in order. It was nice.
There's always one more quirk in the character: Garrett can't knit
Other writing-related work: Went over some interview questions; did a little more CEM. I'm up to Chapter 4.
Books in progress:
John Lindow, Norse Mythology;
Cool stuff from the Internets: Beolingus
The glamour!: I really need to do laundry. And dishes. The latter will happen soonish; the former? Maybe once I finish this story.
